Visual identity and website design for a rapidly growing pharmacy group in the North of England
Project type: Visual identity design and premium website design and development with ongoing support
Client: the Hub pharmacy is a group of 21 community pharmacies in the North of England
Services provided: Naming, visual identity, website design, image curation and processing, copywriting, website development, social integration.
We have worked alongside the management team at the Hub pharmacy since before it was called the Hub pharmacy. The brief was to create a name and visual identity to re-brand an existing pharmacy group following acquisition by new investors. The new group would have a tighter geographical and community focus, providing a wide range of pharmacy services from within the community.
Following extensive research and development, DOSE helped the team select their preferred name that communicated their aspiration to contribute to the health and wellbeing of their communities. We then created a visual identity that supported the name and vision. We designed and developed a bespoke website focusing on simplicity of use while allowing patients to learn about the services offered and providing a portal for people to learn about career opportunities with the business. We selected images to communicate the company’s approach to pharmacy and wrote and edited text.
A range of features were built into the site:
- Prescription sign up and ordering
- Service booking
- Careers vacancies and application
- Social integration
- Search engine optimisation
